Urban Forest Strategic Plan

Boulder's youngest residents studied trees this school year in order to provide recommendations to the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department's Urban Forest Strategic plan. Preschoolers from Boulder County Head Start and infants through preschoolers from Boulder Journey School learned about, observed, and interacted with local trees. Our under 5 population and their teachers shared their ideas through an in-depth exploration of trees via the poster (below) displayed at a March 2017 public event.
