2022 Non-Event FUNdraiser

GUB May 2022: Non-Event FUNdraiser!

Growing Up Boulder's Spring 2022 virtual FUNdraiser.
In 2021, we convened US Congressman Joe Neguse, our incredible kid emcee team, and over 100 participants to explore the invaluable benefits of child-friendly communities.  At Growing Up Boulder's 2021 FUNdraise, you helped us raise $60,000! The funds you donated allowed us to: hire our first Americorps member and GUB Youth leader, pay our existing staff for more hours, as well as staff projects like our youth-led “Healing Day of Remembrance” and “Reimage[d] Policing” in Boulder.   These projects continue to showcase what’s possible when we elevate kids' and youth voices from all backgrounds.

In Spring of 2022, we invited you to contribute to GUB’s May 2022 “Non-Event FUNdraiser!”  Why a “non-event event”?  Because we were so busy DOING the work that we needed to save our time, while still requesting your critical financial support.

As part of our core operations and programming, and in line with our mission and vision to lead a global movement of child-friendly cities and participatory planning with Boulder-area youth, we asked for your support to continue these efforts AND expand our operations to:
  • Hire a bilingual specialist
  • Launch Boulder as a pilot UNICEF USA Child-Friendly City Initiative!
Boulder Community Health and Children’s Hospital Colorado have already signed on to support the UNICEF USA Child-Friendly City Initiative via GUB; will you?
