Sawhill Ponds Grand Re-Opening: Child and Caregiver Reflections 2025

​On Sunday, October 19, 2025, the City of Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) hosted a bilingual, family-friendly grand re-opening at Sawhill Ponds to celebrate its new Fishing Pier and Nature Discovery Area. At this event, Growing Up Boulder staff gathered qualitative feedback from children, parents, and teachers about how families experienced the new space and how to sustain its use.
