Make your own Child Friendly City Map

​Growing Up Boulder is thrilled to announce the creation of our new Child Friendly City Map Course.  Developed by Growing Up Boulder Education Director, Cathy Hill, and by University of Colorado Professor, Chelsea Hackett, this asynchronous course was developed in response to requests from educators, youth workers, nonprofits, and municipal governments for how to create their own Child Friendly City Maps.  The course will take you on a step-by-step journey, complete with activities to work with children and design a map for your community's needs. 

The price of the course will cover the include the online platform, the book Placemaking with Children and Youth: Participatory Practices for Planning Sustainable Communities, and several video meetings with Growing Up Boulder staff.
