On a chilly Saturday morning on October 27th, students from 5 area schools, the University of Colorado's Environmental Design and Environmental Studies Programs, community members and parents came together to make recycled art on a vacant lot at Pearl and 21st.  Teams worked together to create a diversity of pieces to be displayed at the Riverside on Broadway.  Organized by the ScrapSisters, the event helped build community, promote art, and was just plain fun!  Participating students came from Whittier Elementary School, Casey Middle School, Boulder High School, Mackintosh Academy, and Shining Mountain Waldorf School.
